If you played College Football 27 all summer, you want to know what comes with you into Madden 27. The short answer: your Road to Glory player transfers into Superstar mode, and nothing else does. Draft classes from Dynasty still cannot be exported. Here is exactly what carries over, the step-by-step transfer, and what to do about the gap.

The 20-second read: One thing transfers. A Road to Glory player can be exported to Madden 27 and imported into Superstar mode once he is eligible for the NFL draft, using the same cloud transfer that has run since College Football 25. Your Legacy Score and the decisions that shaped your draft stock come with him. What does NOT transfer: Dynasty recruiting classes into Madden Franchise. That has never worked and it still does not in Madden 27.

What Carries Over and What Does Not, at a Glance

This question comes back every August in the same two shapes. Someone built a Road to Glory player and wants to keep him. Someone else spent a Dynasty save recruiting a class and assumes those players follow into the NFL. Only one of those works, and the table is the whole answer.

What you built in College Football 27 Does it come into Madden 27?
Your Road to Glory player Yes. He exports into Superstar mode once he is draft eligible.
Your Legacy Score and college career Yes. It travels with that player and it is what moved his draft stock.
A Dynasty recruiting class No. Draft class exports into Madden Franchise are not supported and Madden 27 does not add them.
Anything else from a Dynasty save No. The Road to Glory export is the only transfer that exists between the two games.
Legends into Franchise No. Legends stay locked to Ultimate Team.

What Transfers: Your Road to Glory Player

The one real crossover is the player you built. Once he is eligible for the NFL draft, you can export him out of College Football 27 and pull him into Madden 27’s Superstar mode. Your Legacy Score, the measure of everything you did in college, is what your college career amounts to on the way in. Performances, awards, championships, rivalries, records, and the off-field decisions that moved your draft stock all fed that number.

How to Transfer, Step by Step

  1. Open College Football 27 and go to the main menu.
  2. Select Road to Glory.
  3. Go to the Actions tab and select Leave for the NFL.
  4. Select Export Player to Madden.
  5. Exit College Football 27 and launch Madden NFL 27.
  6. From the main menu select Superstar, then select Import.

Your player has to be draft eligible first. If Leave for the NFL is not available yet, you are not far enough into the college career.

If Leave for the NFL Is Not Showing Up

Almost every transfer that “does not work” is the same thing, and it is not a broken export. Work down this list before you assume something is wrong with the game.

  1. Check draft eligibility first. Leave for the NFL only appears once your player is eligible for the NFL draft. If it is missing or unavailable in the Actions tab, the answer is more college football, not a fix.
  2. Look in the Actions tab, not the settings menu. The decision lives inside Road to Glory itself. If you are partway through a season, play it out and check the tab again.
  3. Export before you open Madden. The order matters. Run Export Player to Madden out of College Football 27 first, then launch Madden 27 and use Import from the Superstar menu. There is nothing waiting on the Madden side until the export has actually run.
  4. Stay on the same account. The transfer moves through the cloud rather than a save file you can see, so both games need to be signed in to the same EA account.

What Does Not Transfer: Dynasty Draft Classes

This is the one that frustrates people every year, and Madden 27 does not fix it. If you spent a Dynasty save recruiting a class and you want to follow those players into the NFL through Madden Franchise, you cannot. College Football still cannot export draft classes to Madden.

It is worth being clear about why the two get confused. The Road to Glory transfer moves one player into Superstar. A draft class export would move many players into Franchise. Those are different systems, and only the first one exists.

Also still absent in Madden 27: Legends remain locked to Ultimate Team and stay out of Franchise. More on the Franchise side in our Madden 27 Persona Engine breakdown.

What to Do About the Gap

Knowing a Dynasty class cannot follow you is the easy half. The useful question is what a summer of College Football 27 reps is actually worth once the save itself stays behind.

Your scheme knowledge is the part that really transfers

No save file crosses over except one player, but the reads do. Coverage recognition, how you attack a two-high shell, when a blitz is coming and where the free release is, what you do on third and six: none of that lives in a file, and it is the part that decides games in either title.

One thing to reset before you carry it over is the vocabulary. College Football 27 names its offensive playbooks after schools and names every defensive playbook after the scheme it runs, so searching for a school’s defense by name finds nothing. Madden 27 organizes its books around NFL teams instead. The concepts survive the move. The labels on the menu do not, and that trips up more returning players than any mechanic does.

Start the Madden save you can keep

If the appeal of Dynasty was watching players you developed turn into pros, the closest thing on the Madden side is a Franchise built around the rookies you draft yourself, and Superstar is where the one player who did make the trip belongs. Both are long saves, which is the point. If you want the scheme work done for you before you start, our best playbooks in Madden 27 breakdown is the fastest way in.
