Stock Plays, Real Reads
Most schemes ask you to memorize a dozen hot routes before the ball is even snapped. This one does the opposite. Elitee built it out of stock Wyoming Trips TE plays that already beat man and zone on their own, so the work moves from your thumbs to your eyes.
  • Your first job every snap is the safety count. Single high safety or two high safety. That one read decides where you go on almost every concept in this guide.
  • Single high means the middle of the field is open. On Comeback Y Angle Post that is your tight end, and it is close to a free completion.
  • Two high usually means man underneath. Now you are working the checkdown and the comeback instead of forcing it inside.
  • Because the plays are stock, you can call them fast and you never tip anything. There is no hot route for your opponent to read off your fingers.
  • The quarterback run game is the constraint. If they never respect QB Zone and QB Power, you do not have to throw much at all.
  • This is a sim style offense on purpose. It gets the ball to everybody, which makes it a strong Dynasty offense when you want your whole roster putting up numbers.

Set Up
  1. 1Call trips tight end to the WIDE side of the field. If the ball is on the right hash, you are calling this to the left. This is true for every play in the guide.
  2. 2Keep the play completely stock. There is not a single hot route on this one.
  3. 3Pre-snap, the only thing you are looking at is the safety count. Single high or two high.
  4. 4Single high safety: go to the TIGHT END. His route comes open in the middle of the field and Elitee calls it a money play in that look.
  5. 5Two high safety, which usually means man: the running back is almost never covered. Dump it off for the easy gain.
  6. 6The last read is the comeback on the left, the R1 and square side. High low the hard flat defender: if he sinks down toward the running back, the comeback is open behind him.
  7. 7That comeback is also a strong man beater on its own. Against man you can just wait for the break and throw it late.
Adjustments
  • If you get a look where the safeties are creeping down, that is usually a blitz. The tight end still beats his man, so stay with him.
  • You do not need to change anything based on coverage. That is the whole point of this play. Call it, snap it, take what the read gives you.
  • This is the play to open a game with while you figure out what your opponent likes to run.

What playbook and formation is this?
The Wyoming playbook, out of Trips Tight End. You stay in that one formation, which is what keeps the scheme simple to run.
Why is this one only ten dollars?
Because it is a mini scheme and we priced it honestly. Six videos covering four passing concepts, the quarterback run game and the RPO package. It is not a twenty play encyclopedia and we are not going to pretend it is.
Do I need to be good at hot routing to run this?
No, and that is the point. Three of the four passing concepts are run completely stock. Dagger Texas has one optional hot route and Flood Y Swirl has one D-pad stem. Everything else is call it and snap it.
Does this work in Dynasty as well as head to head?
Yes, and Dynasty is where it is especially strong. It is a sim style offense that gets the ball to everybody on the field, so your whole roster puts up numbers instead of one receiver eating every target.
Does it beat man or zone?
Both, and each concept tells you which it is built for. Dagger Texas is your man beater, Flood Y Swirl is your Cover 3 and Cover 4 answer, and Comeback Y Angle Post and Salem Y Wheel both have a man read and a zone read inside the same call.
What happens when EA patches the game?
