Every year formations that are symmetrical become some of the toughest to defend. Having the ability to flip the play or the run without alerting your opponent is a huge advantage. Keeping people on their toes is part of the giant chess match in Madden and we wanted to arm you with a solution to helping that.
Today we have a run defense out of Dollar that will lock up stretch and hb dive from this formation (and others). The key here is that we are also using a symmetrical formation and all of the work done to stop these runs is by the CPU. This gives us the freedom to focus in on other runs (zone weak), or prepare our user for a passing situation.
