The quarterback ratings have been released for the top 5 Madden 16 quarterbacks. With a new ratings maker in place at EA Sports, it is a fair statement to say that much of the Madden community was wondering what things would look like for this year’s game. Below you will find a list of the top five with some of their individual ratings as well.
Aaron Rodgers comes in at #1 with a 99 overall, which is no surprise at all. Below you will find some of his individual ratings that have us believing he can make an instant impact on your Madden team.
- 95 Throw power
- 94 Short Accuracy
- 80 Deep Accuracy
The golden boy himself falls into the #2 position, Tom Brady, with a 97 overall. Likely the most accurate qb in the game (outside of his deep ball), Brady will be a pocket passer’s dream….but also a dream for those with some heaters #TurfTeam
- 94 Throw Power
- 96 Short Accuracy
- 97 Medium Accuracy
Coming in at 3rd at a 95 overall is….Drew Brees….Can that be right? Well, apparently the new ratings guy loves him Brees. Brees lack of throw power year over year poses a concern, and with the Saints losing Jimmy Graham this year will Brees even see much time on the ranked game?
- 87 Throw Power
- 93 Short Accuracy
- 79 Deep Accuracy
Tied at #3 with a 95 overall is Big Ben. I’m sure Ben will get plenty of use this year with his weapons, and depending on how bad broken sacks are he may get an elongated look as well if he is extra difficult to bring to the ground.
- 85 Strength
- 94 Throw Power
- 73 Deep Accuracy
Coming in at #5, and probably the last time he isn’t top 3, is Andrew Luck at 94 overall. Luck is the definite future of the league at QB, and will continue to be used even heavier this year in Madden 16. With his speed not released yet we don’t know how mobile he will be, but I would expect a 75-80 speed rating.
- 95 Throw Power
- 88 Short Accuracy
- 75 Deep Accuracy
